Milestone photography sessions are all about celebrating you and your family in a fun, relaxed way. They capture the unique joy, love, and personality that make your story so wonderful—and create lasting memories you’ll cherish for years to come.

The moment your baby sits confidently on their own. The proud expression when they stand steady for the first time. The laughter that feels bigger and louder with each passing week. These in-between stages move quickly and deserve to be remembered.
Milestone sessions take place in my Banstead studio, where everything is set up to feel easy and unhurried. With a clean, understated backdrop, your baby’s personality becomes the heart of every image.
These sessions are often planned around meaningful stages:
Unlike newborn sessions, milestone sessions are full of movement. Babies crawl, wobble, clap, explore, and sometimes burst into laughter without warning. All of it is welcome.
Parents are always part of the experience, whether offering reassurance just outside the frame or stepping in for a few natural portraits together.
Before your session, we talk through wardrobe to keep everything simple and cohesive. Soft neutrals and natural textures photograph beautifully and allow your baby to remain the centre of attention.
Styling is intentionally understated. Clean backdrops, gentle tones, and minimal props are used with purpose rather than distraction.
Milestone sessions are usually shorter than newborn sessions, as babies at this age are curious and active. We move with their energy while keeping the experience relaxed.
It is often the small things that become most meaningful – the way tiny hands press into the floor, the determined concentration as they balance upright, the delighted grin when they realise they can do something new. These details change so quickly.
Your milestone portraits are designed to live beyond a screen.
I offer fine art prints and framed collections that sit beautifully within your home. Many families build a collection across the first year, allowing each stage to be preserved in a cohesive and timeless way.
These are the images that will quietly grow in meaning as your child grows.
Milestone portraits are more than markers of development. They reflect personality beginning to unfold.
This is often when you start to see who your baby is becoming – curious, playful, thoughtful, determined.
Many families choose to document several stages during the first year, creating a gentle visual timeline of growth. When seen together, these images tell a story that feels far richer than a single portrait ever could.
Years from now, you may look back and remember not just how they looked, but how they were at this age.
Milestone sessions can be reserved a few months in advance to coincide with a particular stage or birthday.
A limited number of bookings are accepted each month, so each family receives a calm and personal experience.
If this stage feels worth preserving, you are very welcome to get in touch. Families travel to my Banstead studio from Epsom, Reigate, Cheam, Coulsdon, and Croydon, as well as from across Surrey, Kent, and London, to mark these moments before they quietly pass.
Every age has its own magic, but if you’re hoping to capture key milestones, the 6–8 month stage (when your baby is sitting up independently) and their first birthday are especially wonderful moments to photograph. These stages are full of personality, curiosity, and joy—perfect for creating timeless images you’ll always cherish.
I recommend booking your session 1–2 months in advance to ensure availability. If you’re hoping for a weekend appointment, especially on a Saturday, it’s best to book at least 3 months ahead, as these dates tend to fill up quickly.
Absolutely! Every session includes both family and sibling portraits. I love to capture a mix of gently posed shots and more natural, relaxed lifestyle moments that truly reflect the connection and love within your family.
Styling plays a key role in creating beautifully cohesive family images. For the best results, I recommend choosing a soft, neutral colour palette and coordinating outfits that complement one another without being too matchy. Light tones photograph beautifully and help keep the focus on your family’s connection.
I cover the Surrey & London areas including:
Because your baby and family are always at the heart of every image, my sessions are styled with a modern, minimal approach. I’m drawn to all things neutral and understated—soft tones and a gentle use of props help keep the focus exactly where it should be: on your connection, your love, and your baby’s natural beauty.
My style blends timeless, gently posed portraits with those quiet, intimate moments that unfold naturally—creating images that feel honest, elegant, and truly meaningful.
No, I don’t believe in selling images you haven’t seen yet.
